From Driveway Dreams to a World-Class Facility

Island Cheer and Tumbling began in 2012 with nothing but a driveway, six students, and a big dream. Back then, we were known as Cheer and Tumbling on the Go a small, grassroots business powered by passion, grit, and a vision to develop not just elite athletes, but strong, driven individuals both inside and outside the gym.

From day one, our mission has been about more than cheerleading and tumbling. We’ve focused on building life skills, work ethic, resilience, confidence that transcend the mat and last a lifetime. Thanks to the incredible support of our community and the power of word-of-mouth, our small beginnings quickly grew. What started as one class of six turned into five classes and over 50 athletes in just a year.

In 2013, an opportunity knocked and we answered. We moved into a modest 600 sq. ft. space and scaled rapidly, growing to 14 tumbling classes and over 100 athletes in less than a year. It wasn’t long before we outgrew that space too. Fueled by a bigger vision, we transitioned into our first full-sized gym and continued building what would become one of Florida’s premier cheer and tumbling programs.

Today, Island Cheer and Tumbling is proud to be the largest competitive training facility in Northeast Florida. On April 8, 2024, we opened the doors to our brand-new, state-of-the-art facility designed and built from the ground up to empower the next generation of athletes.

We offer Level 1–6 Tumbling and All-Star Cheerleading for ages 3–18, and here’s what sets us apart: every athlete makes a team, no matter their experience level. We believe every child deserves a chance to grow, learn, and shine.

Our staff is made up of passionate professionals from top collegiate and All-Star programs nationwide. Together, we bring unmatched expertise, energy, and commitment to every athlete who walks through our doors. We don’t just train champions, we prepare young people for success in life, including opportunities to continue cheerleading at the collegiate level.
